“Rob has given me the tools to confidently forecast without feeling overwhelmed with data overload. Rob’s gentle guidance has helped me to better understand the data and encouraged me explain the actual invoices with confidence.

When I first started tracking water usage on site which has a direct relationship to cost of waste disposal, I ended up with an abundance of data and feeling overwhelmed. This was partly due to my inability to understand the numbers and what was directly and or indirectly causing costs to fluctuate. I was also having trouble explaining or suggesting ways to reduce costs to others because of my lack of understanding of the data.

Because waste disposal has a link to the environment on site, forecasting of the wastewater costings provides important information for making business decisions and provides essential data for future environmental project funding.

During Rob’s weekly finance review meetings,I was being challenged to find ways of easily explaining the data. Through Rob’s guidance, I found I was continually finding ways of improving on my data collection. I was also improving the ways of reporting, which helped me forecast with more clarity. As my confidence grew, I was finding it easier to explain the costings to different levels within the business.
